… is investigating the crossroads between cybersecurity and artificial intelligence |

Hi! I am Dani, a researcher in computer science at CNR, the Italian state research organization. I am currently conducting my studies at the IMATI institute in Genova (Italy).
I primarily investigate how to automate various security activities — in other words, I spend my days convincing computers to protect themselves so I do not have to. I have explored a wide range of areas, including intent-based cybersecurity, autonomous networking, traffic anomaly detection, software reverse engineering, and high-speed cryptography.
In the past, I have worked for the CNRS, the French national research organization, and the Politecnico di Torino, one of Italy’s most prestigious technical universities. Somewhere between contributing to international research projects and publishing research papers, I have mastered the questionable art of translating paranoia into methodology.
This is the list of my (current) most prominent scientific interests.
This is my list of officially published papers in journals and conferences.

Wow! You arrived near the end of the page. You really deserve some prizes for your tenacity!
You can get most of my open-source software on GitHub. Below you can also find a small selection.
The software marked as archived is no longer actively maintained. Meaning = do not expect updates.
I cannot really help you on the quality of your ideas part, but I can give you some advices on how to speak and write (well, according to me).
Just to keep the size of this page below 42 exbibyte, this is a selection of topics I would like to investigate in the future.
This is the (definitely inaccurate) list of cities that I have visited. You can click on the map to see more details.
Soooo…
I have to thanks many many many many people for my personal and professional growth. I will not include directly any name since I will surely forget somebody and the list will be too long.
Thank you for everything!
